💗 Your First Loving Westchester Issue Is Here. Get The Scoop, On Us!

Goosebumps nostalgia, street eats, outdoor fun, puppies, and a surprise waiting at Blue Pig...

Hello, Westchester!

Welcome to the very first edition - it’s stuffed to the brim with fun for the coming days! Loving Westchester started because we kept saying, “What should we do this weekend?” and then spending way too long trying to figure it out. We want to give busy parents an easier way to plan, while sharing in each other’s adventures and truly making the most of our downtime… and of where we love to live.

School’s almost out for many, camps are sort of in, and if you stick your head out the door, you might just catch the faint smell of sunscreen. The pools are opening, the first heatwave is on its way, and the promise of sun-filled memories is in the air.

One thing’s for sure: we’ll all be trying to keep the bugs and the “I’m boreds” at bay… and we can help with at least one of those.

Thanks for being a part of our crew from day one. We’re excited to grow this with you and hope to bring you many surprises along the way.

See you again Tuesday!

Wes+Bec

P.S. Don’t forget, you’re all in the running to win our local giveaway bundle. 🏡 WHERE THE HEART IS

Incredible homes are listed and sold in Westchester every week. Here’s one that caught our eye…

“Rabbit Hill” | Briarcliff Manor, NY | $15,000,000

Listed by Compass Greater NY, LLC

Rabbit Hill is a stunning 1929 Hudson Valley estate designed by renowned architect Mott Schmidt, sitting on a trick-or-treater’s nightmare 22 private acres with sweeping views of the Hudson River. Schmidt, famous for creating elegant homes for early-America's elite, designed this 13,000-square-foot mansion with his trademark blend of grandeur and livability, featuring beautiful details like a curved floating staircase and airy, sun-filled rooms.

Restored in 2016 and recently used as a filming location for Robert De Niro's Netflix series "Zero Day," the four-level home includes six en-suite bedrooms, a modern kitchen, and sprawling grounds with a pool, pool house, and 100-foot terrace all facing the Hudson River, making this gated estate a rare find.

THE BLUE PIG | Croton-On-Hudson

Westchester’s heating up so we took a much-needed trip to The Blue Pig in Croton to cool off. It was our first time back since last summer and their all-natural ice cream, often featuring herbs from their garden and served on the sweetest little patio, totally lived up to the memory. With the thermostat expected to crank even higher this weekend, there’s a great chance we find ourselves back on the patio, checking out their new summer offerings… a six-flavor flight sundae, a fresh strawberry lemon ice pop and a sparkling lemonade! Insider tip: we unexpectedly all voted their banana and peanut butter flavor our number 1!

By the way, we put a free scoop up on the board by the register for any one of you to grab - our way of sharing the love. If you get it, let us know what you think… or send us a pic!
