šŸŽø We've Got Two Tickets to Jack White's Sold Out Show at The Cap

A new pizza spot lands in Ardsley, a former Ranger's Harrison home hits the market & Pleasantville Music Festival takes the stage tomorrow

Hello, Westchester!

Another Friday, another killer giveaway with Ardsley Car Wash and this is the big one we’ve been teasing for a couple of months…

If you keep your finger on the pulse of the Westchester music scene, you already know that 12-time Grammy winner Jack White is coming to The Capitol Theatre on July 19th. If you know that, you probably also know those tickets sold out in under five minutes. What you might not know is that we got our hands on two tickets and we’re giving them away!

The excitement is going down on our Instagram. Check it out here and good luck!

Elsewhere in the county, Playland Park is getting a do-over on its 4th of July fireworks show and will be setting them off tonight at 9p. It’ll start a run of Friday night fireworks in Rye that’ll last until early September. If you’re not visiting Playland that day, Rye Town Park is a great viewing spot. Grab some dinner from nearby Piazza Pizza, Antonio’s, or Milton Point Provisions and you’ve got a great start to your weekend.

Let's get to it!

šŸ“ Around Our County

We've been making the drive up to Montrose for Baci Pizzeria for a while now. It's the kind of place that makes the trip feel worth it… expertly fermented dough, flavorful sauce, and a level of care that shows up in every slice.

So when we heard owner Chris Weisman was opening a second location in Ardsley, we couldn't get there fast enough. If you follow Chris on Instagram, you know why Baci has such a loyal following. His no-nonsense social media persona clearly resonates with a legion of #bacimafia followers who know better than to ask for slices at the Montrose location. It’s all backed up, however, with a ton of skill and attention to detail that comes through in his food and landed him third in the 2025 International Pizza Expo’s Northeast Region ranks.

The best news of all? Asking for a slice in Ardsley won’t get you thrown out! So if, like us, you’ve selectively made your way through the Baci menu at the Montrose location, now you can knock out a few tastes in one visit. That’s exactly what we did on Day 1…

  • Original NY Style… your classic cheese slice, we always want to grab one to get a baseline and this baseline is way up there. After tasting a few others and revisiting this one, the sauce and the garlic coming through it was incredible.

  • Buffalo Chicken… we love a good buffalo slice and this one had huge chunks of chicken everywhere, crust was excellent.

  • Thin Grandma w/ Sausage & Peppers… the sleeper hit of the visit. Tons of flavor, highly recommended if it’s in the window.

  • Sicilian… again, nothing wrong with a classic when it’s done so well. Dough was nice and light, not too dense. Another hit, especially with the kids.

No slice made it out of our parking space intact. And as you might have guessed from those reviews, we’re fans of what Chris is doing, his approach to pizza and his overall approach to life. A few things to know before you go: 1. Keep an eye on the Baci Instagram page. Chris is juggling the existing Montrose shop, the Ardsley launch, and, from what we hear, a bakery. Instagram is the best place to know which location is open on a given day. 2. Ardsley was cash only when we went. Systems are still getting set up, make sure you’re prepared! 3. No sign outside yet. Look for the shop opposite the deli in the square and it’s the one with a ton of great pizza in it.

You'll find Baci in the Square at 471 Ashford Avenue, Ardsley. Enjoy!

šŸ” Where the Heart Is

Incredible homes are listed in Westchester every week. Here’s one that caught our eye

The Key Details: 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 6,452 square feet on 0.99 acres ($588 / square foot)

What We Love About It: If you’re a local sports fan, this day was unfortunately bound to happen at some point. Hitting the market, sadly, is the Sterling Ridge home of former New York Rangers alternate captain, Vincent Trocheck, who was traded to the Utah Mammoth last week. At 127 Rye Ridge Road, you’re getting a home fit for a US Olympic gold medalist in Harrison’s solid school district and minutes from downtown Rye. It’s a beautiful and exclusive neighborhood that comes with Harrison Meadows Club access. We’ll be sorry to see Vinny go and wish him luck in Utah. For any readers interested in the home, hopefully you can replace his faceoff win percentage.

Not every Westchester resident that leaves the area takes to social media to bid farewell. Vincent Trocheck via Instagram: To our Harrison people. We came into town not having a clue what to expect. We got so lucky landing where we did. The community made my family feel like they were home right away. The friends my kids made, the friendships my wife and I made, will never be lost. I’m so proud to say I lived in Harrison NY.
