Plus, Pete Davidson's podcast hits The Cap stage & 90s classics by candlelight
Hello, Westchester!
We hope you had a great weekend! Ours was sports filled - both little league and major! We persisted despite the weather on Sunday, and hope it didnāt dampen your weekend too much! Weāre seeing more events popping up midweek⦠and not just for the kids. Itās not all about the weekends anymore as things start to open up a bit. Weāre always looking for a good excuse or three to start the weekend vibes a little early.
Case in point⦠Pete Davidson is recording a live episode of The Pete Davidson Show at The Capitol Theatre this week. Tickets are still floating around⦠and, in a very Westchester twist, so is his North Salem house, which, as it turns out, is also on the market.
Thereās a āBest Night Everā happening in Port Chester (bold claim, but weāre willing to hear them out), candle-making with the kids at Shake It Off, Chazz Palminteri at Bedford Playhouse, and a 90s unplugged set that might be hard not to sing along to.
All of which is to say⦠thereās plenty here, whether youāre planning ahead or just looking for something to drop into.
Speaking of dropping in, we did just that on Saturday at Larchmontās brand new Millieās Provisions⦠chaotically wonderful (it was a very busy opening day!). Weāll tell you all about it in Fridayās Eats-Chester.
So, letās get into itā¦

š” Where the Heart Is
Incredible homes are listed in Westchester every week. Hereās one that caught our eye

9 Strawberry Lane is a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 3,196 square foot stone home from 1859 on 0.35 acres in the Irvington School District. This charming carriage house has kept its historic character with details like plank wood flooring, leaded glass windows, window seats, and a wood-burning fireplace. The home blends old-world charm with modern updates. The formal living room has a fireplace, and the dining room flows into a brand new expanded kitchen with a huge island, breakfast area, and butler's pantry. High-end appliances include a Sub-Zero fridge, Wolf stove and speed oven, Miele dishwasher, and wine fridge. There's a new half bath and laundry on the main level, plus a family room. Upstairs you'll find a primary bedroom with en-suite bath, plus three more bedrooms and another full bath. The basement offers plenty of storage. Outside, a new patio opens to a fenced yard. The home has central air, fresh paint, an electric car charger, and energy-efficient insulation. You can walk to town, schools, shops, and restaurants.
Close to Irvington Metro-North (43 minutes to Grand Central). Near FarmEats BBQ, MP Taverna, and Cifone's. Irvington schools nearby.
