🌸 The Spring Weekend Westchester's Been Waiting For

Picture-perfect outdoor markets, award-winning entertainers & Mother's Day celebrations

Happy Friday, Westchester!

Mother’s Day weekend is here… and like most things in life, it can mean a lot of different things to different people.

For some, it’s breakfast in bed and handmade cards. For others, it’s missing someone far away, remembering someone deeply, navigating a complicated relationship, or quietly wishing things had worked out differently. Some are moms, some hope to be, some chose another path entirely… and all of it deserves gentleness.

What we do know is this: women carry a lot. The mental load, the emotional load, the remembering, organizing, checking in, showing up, keeping things moving load. And while one day never quite covers it, it’s still a good excuse to pause and make someone feel seen.

If you’re out of ideas for the woman in your life, some of the simplest things are usually the most meaningful anyway. Pick up their favorite drink. Give them an uninterrupted hour with the book they keep meaning to start. Suggest something they genuinely love doing. Handle something before they have to ask. Realistically, these are things we should try to do for each other more often… but if this weekend helps start that habit, we’re all for it.

We’ve packed this edition with plenty of ways to spend the weekend, whether you’re planning a full family day out, a quiet wander through a market, a concert, brunch, plants, flowers, frisbee, and even sheep shearing (what?!)

Here’s wishing the weather holds out for all of us (and the sheep!)

Let’s get into it…
