❤ Spring Has Sprung: Easter Egg Hunts, Pottery Sales & Glow-in-the-Dark Dinos
Joan Osborne sings Dylan, Stone Barns maple cocktails & 20,000 eggs in Greenwich
Happy Friday, Westchester!
The signs of spring are everywhere… flowers are starting to pop out of earth that was frozen solid just a few weeks ago, walkers and joggers are reclaiming their share of the road, Easter eggs are being hidden, baseball’s first pitches are being thrown, and kids’ spring sports are doing what they do to the weekend calendars!
Spring Break is also upon us, which means that many Westchester families will be hitting the road - or air - at some point over the next two weeks. For those headed out, safe travels and, with the current TSA staffing issue, be sure to check on expected security times at the airport when planning your trip out!
For those of us staying closer to home, this weekend brings plenty of reasons to get outside and celebrate spring… there are Easter egg hunts at Shake It Off and Harvest Moon, Connor McGinn's pottery studio opens for its sale of restaurant-quality ceramics at serious discounts, and Stone Barns hosts a maple cocktail session. For families, there's a glow-in-the-dark dinosaur show at Tarrytown Music Hall that’s highly recommended by Rolling Stone, and Big Bird takes kids to space at the planetarium.
Whatever you end up doing, get out there, take a deep breath of spring air and enjoy it. Catch you next week.

25 Hudson Avenue | Irvington | $1,299,000

25 Hudson Avenue is a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,626 square foot colonial from 1957 in the award-winning Irvington School District. This home has been renovated from top to bottom with high-end finishes throughout. The open kitchen is a real standout with radiant heated floors, tons of counter space, and sliders to a spacious deck with a gas hookup for the grill. The deck overlooks a big level backyard that's perfect for entertaining. Right off the kitchen you'll find a family room with built-ins, a pantry, laundry room, and powder room. The finished lower level gives you bonus space for a rec room, gym, or media area, with walkout access to the garage and backyard. Upstairs, the primary suite has custom his-and-her walk-in closets and a spa-like bathroom with a clawfoot tub. Three more good-sized bedrooms and a hall bath with double sinks complete the second floor.
