šŸ’— Loving Westchester's Weekday Highlights: Legends, Laughs & Latin Dance

Plus, we go Back to the Future in Yonkers and explore psychic phenomena in Peekskill

Hi Westchester!

First of all, many of you really got into the Halloween spirit these past few days. We had thousands upon thousands of you read our Friday edition. And now more than 8,500 of you have come on board in total! We can’t believe how quickly our newsletter has grown and what a lovely community this has become! Thank you for making us a part of your downtime, the most important time you have.

How is everyone coping with the time change? Wondering how it has been evening for what seems like 10 hours but then realizing it’s only 6.30pm and the house has descended into madness as the kids are wrecked because they’re now getting up at the crack of dawn?

Being hit with Christmas ads while trying to get the most out of the Halloween decoration effort? And is anyone else considering popping some Santa hats on the ghouls and calling it a day. By ghouls, I don’t mean the kids, or neighbors… promise.

While the daylight is certainly shorter, and we know the C word is on the horizon, as well as a trip to the attic or basement for the grand ol’ season swap out, we’re focused on enjoying the late fall colors and all the turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce this time of year has to offer.

Almost ready to swap that cinnamon sugar rim for our hot toddy glasses… almost…

Have a great week, friends. And thank you again for being here.

Bec+Wes

šŸ” Where the Heart Is…

Incredible homes are listed in Westchester every week. Here’s one that caught our eye…

Listed by Four Seasons Real Estate Center

101 Summit Avenue is a stunning piece of literary history as the childhood home of Charlotte’s Web and Stuart Little author, E.B. White. The 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom, 5,000 square foot Victorian features high ceilings, working fireplaces, Italian tile floors, original woodwork and moldings and a wrap-around enclosed sunroom.

The home is just an 8 minute drive to Pelham’s Metro-North Station (with its 33 minute train to Grand Central) and most importantly, 4 minutes to Johnny’s Pizza & 6 minutes to Pizza Fenice. Priorities.
