💗 Loving Westchester's Week Ahead: Eat, Drink & Have the Time of Your Life
Plus, a golden homecoming, designer handbags and an impractical joker
Hello, Westchester!
Real quick… find a piece of wood you can knock on. Ready? Ok. Yesterday dipped below freezing and we’re not expected to do that again through the entire month of March. In fact, we’re expected to hit 70° as soon as this weekend. Hard to imagine with snow still on the ground but it seems its days are numbered.
With the snow melting and rain expected this week, it might mean a day trip up north for us. Last year, we took a drive up to Minnewaska State Park to see Awosting Falls but there hadn’t been much rain in the lead up and the falls were pretty quiet. We’d love to catch it with some more water flowing through and, if we do, it nearly guarantees a stop at Apizza in New Paltz on the way home. Both the falls and Apizza are very highly recommended.

Severance fans may recognize Awosting Falls
Closer to home, a few big names are coming through the county… Blippi at Tarrytown Music Hall, James Murray from Impractical Jokers at the Paramount, and Grammy winner Warren Haynes at The Cap. Kiddos have the opportunity to mingle with wolves and dance to Chappell while the grown ups can “sample” some tequila and wine. A short drive away, “golden girl” Aerin Frankel makes her New York area return when she leads the Boston Fleet into Newark and Broad City’s Ilana Glazer takes her comedy set to Nyack.
You’ve got the warmth back. You’ve got the itinerary. Now get out and enjoy it… catch you Friday!
