💗 Loving Westchester's Taylor-Made Week: A Swiftie Tribute, Taconic Tasting & A Tony-Nominee
Plus, murder mystery masquerade, Kenny Wayne Shepherd & Snow White meets the kids
Hello, Westchester!
Did the clock sneak up on anyone else? 🕰
Dinner feels late, bedtimes feel off… we haven’t quite caught up yet. Still, the extra light in the evenings is hard to argue with, especially when the sun finally has a bit of warmth to it.
Spring rarely arrives all at once around here. It creeps in slowly. With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner and the first real hints of life appearing, these days remind me of the old Gaelic calendar, which marked the beginning of spring back in early February with Imbolc. The thinking behind it was simple: the land begins stirring long before we get to see it. At this time of year that feels especially true.
When the days warm but the nights stay cold, sap begins rising inside the maple trees… soon to make its way onto our plates. Across the Northeast, maple syrup season is underway!
March feels like a month of stirring. The light returning. The ground emerging. Westchester stretching its legs again.
So, with that in mind, there are some great events this week worth getting out for… a murder mystery masquerade in Tarrytown where guests become detectives at a billionaire's ball and Taconic Distillery brings a whiskey masterclass to White Plains. For families, Snow White screens at Jacob Burns with a character meet-and-greet, kids can read to a therapy dog to boost confidence, and Seth Rudetsky hosts Tony nominee Jennifer Simard for an evening of Broadway stories and songs.
Get out, get some fresh air, and get into Westchester. See you out there!

See the Difference One Day Can Make!
If you've been living with dated, damaged, or builder-grade doors, you're not alone. Most Westchester homes have them… and most homeowners assume replacing them means weeks of construction mess.
There's a better way.
One Day Doors & Closets of New York uses advanced 3D scanning technology to measure your existing door frames with precision. Your custom solid pine doors are then manufactured off-site with a cabinet-grade baked paint finish, so they arrive at your home completely finished and ready to install.
See the before and after difference…
