šŸ’— Loving Westchester's Mid-Week Merriment: Say Cheese & Sneak a Preview in Pleasantville

Plus, Santa joyrides across New Rochelle and a Hanukkah celebration on ice in Mamaroneck

Hello, Westchester!

Nine days to Christmas… that slightly chaotic stretch where everything feels festive and frantic at the same time.

Saturday night’s snowstorm had other plans for some of us. A few outings didn’t happen, some plans quietly turned into pajamas and takeout, and some of us got the magic of a snowfall without the full week being thrown off course. We hope everyone stayed safe and got through it all okay.

Now we’re here. Lights twinkling, kids counting sleeps, adults making lists that seem to get longer rather than shorter.

Today’s Loving Westchester is here to help. Festive things still worth leaving the house for, a few low-effort wins, and ideas that don’t require a group chat, a weather app, and a mild existential spiral. The countdown is on and we’re firmly in ā€œchoose your favorites and call it a winā€ territory.

We hope your week is low on stress and high on laughs! Enjoy!

Bec+Wes

šŸ” Where the Heart Is

Incredible homes are listed in Westchester every week. Here’s one that caught our eye…

Listed by Compass Greater NY

124 Seven Bridges Road is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1,918 square foot residence from the 1930s on 3.25 acres of lush gardens and woodlands in Chappaqua. Designed by noted architect James Renwick Thomson, the home offers timeless details… vaulted ceilings, Palladian windows, handcrafted woodwork, and two working fireplaces. The outdoor space is exceptional, including formal gardens with stone pathways, two tranquil koi ponds, a running stream, multiple seating areas, and a tennis court. A second-floor terrace overlooks the landscape, while the finished lower level adds flexible living space.

The home is 8 minutes to Chappaqua's Metro-North Station (53 minutes to Grand Central), 7 minutes to Goodhouse in Mt. Kisco & 8 minutes to Bobo’s. Chappaqua's top-rated schools with surprisingly low taxes.
