💗 Loving Westchester Kicks Off the New Year With Fun for All Ages
Plus, "A is for Alan" when the Sesame Street star tells us how to get to Tarrytown next weekend

Happy first Friday of 2026!
The new year has officially begun, and with it comes the familiar ‘goal setting’ and ‘good intentions’. Ours include plenty of plans for bringing you more of what you love, along with new opportunities, offers, giveaways, and experiences we’re excited to share as the year unfolds.
If you’re easing into it, that’s more than okay. What’s the rush, after all? This week sits in a strange in-between. Some of us are back in work mode, others are still finding their footing (what time/day is it?) and many are doing a bit of both.
As you think about what you want from the year ahead, we hope you leave space for the things that bring you genuine enjoyment. The small plans. Some new experiences. Many moments that fill your cup rather than drain it.
We’ve loved being part of your holiday season. The engagement over Christmas reminded us why we do this. We’re grateful to have been here with you through it. And to our new readers, welcome! We’re so glad you chose to be with us.
This weekend’s edition is about just that: low-effort plans, enjoyable moments, and a gentle step into the year. Next week, we’ll tackle the return to routines together. Enjoy!
Bec + Wes
In today’s edition:
Featured events… a youth theater performance with some Broadway flair, and a Sesame Street staple brings songs and stories to Tarrytown.

Worth a drive… shut the lights down at the Bronx Zoo or take a trip to Levity Live for a laugh.
Where the heart is… a 3-bedroom, corner lot home hits the market in Rye Brook.
Plus, a message from our partners, QueenBPoker (for all things fun and play) & QueenBHive (for all things comms and brand)!
