🎁 Award-Winning TaSH Farmers Market Returns for Mother's Day This Saturday

Grammy winner Ani DiFranco and The Black Keys set to rock The Cap & Horace Greeley's home hits the market

Hello, Westchester!

How was your weekend? Between the relentless schedule of weekend sports and everything else life throws at you, we managed to squeeze in a few great events around the county that we'd flagged for you last week.

We made it to the First-Ever Fairy House Festival at Rye Nature Center (a perfect miniature walk for our miniature person), the killer collab between Walter's Hot Dogs and Ridgefield's Hoodoo Brown BBQ (which had us daydreaming a drive out to Connecticut), and Brett Goldstein’s (Ted Lasso's Roy Kent) sold out standup show at Tarrytown Music Hall where he brought the house down. Safe to say the weekend was well spent.

That was our combination and it stretched our weekend to the max. What did you get up to? We love hearing from readers who got out to events we'd recommended during the week, so drop us a line and let us know. And get into that habit, because in the not too distant future, sharing your feedback might just earn you an entry into some of the great giveaways we have planned.

Looking ahead, this week's edition is all about giving you plenty of time to plan for Mother's Day weekend… and there's a lot worth planning around. TaSH returns to Patriots Park for their first outdoor market of the season, plus weekend events at Lyndhurst, Stone Barns, and the New York Botanical Garden, among others. For all the moms who deserve to be fussed over this weekend - Loving Westchester's own Bec very much included - we've got you covered.

Enjoy the week and we'll catch you on Friday!

🏡 Where the Heart Is

Incredible homes are listed in Westchester every week. Here’s one that caught our eye

33 Aldridge Road is a 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 5,247 square foot home from 1854 on 1.79 acres. This is a New Castle Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property started as Horace Greeley's original stone barn built around 1857, making it the first stone and cement structure built in the United States. One of Greeley's daughters converted it to a residence in 1892, hiring architect Ralph Adams Cram to design the transformation. The spaces are dramatic with high ceilings, exposed beams, antique wainscoting, and reclaimed wood floors. The formal dining room has original windows and a fireplace. The kitchen features exposed beams, aged brick walls, a working island, and stainless appliances. The living room has a fireplace, coffered ceiling, and built-ins. There's a private primary suite with an office and bath. The third floor has three more bedrooms with great exposed beams and sliding barn doors. Outside, you'll find a screened porch, two stone terraces, beautifully landscaped grounds with a wildflower meadow, rolling lawns, old stone walls, and mature plantings. The home includes a two-car garage and a generator.

Very close to Chappaqua shops, restaurants, middle school, and train station (about 55 minutes to Grand Central). Near Southern Table Kitchen & Bar, The Raconteur, and Lulu's Kitchenette. Horace Greeley High School (rated 10/10) nearby.
