🌻 A Weekend of Luaus, Sunflower Fields & 90s Dance Parties
Ron Howard returns to Jacob Burns Friday, Collective Soul plays The Cap & a $4M Mamaroneck home with front-row Fourth of July fireworks views
Hello, Westchester!
Whether you're heading out for one last summer weekend away or planted right here at home, the forecast is cooperating… sunny 70s and 80s throughout. If you've been hoping for perfect summer weekend weather to close out the season, this is it.
Speaking of closing out summer, kids are back in school in under two weeks (!), which means it's about time to start thinking about what actually gets us excited about fall. We've been fielding this question a lot lately, and honestly, our answers are all over the map. So we thought we'd throw it out to you:
What are you most looking forward to about fall in Westchester? |
We'll share what most of you said next week. Today’s edition has your seasonal pivot options: a Hawaiian luau to close out summer at Harvest Moon, apple picking opens at Outhouse on Sunday, a 90s dance party if you want to hold onto the past a little longer, and two sunflower festivals worth the drive if you're looking for something to do beyond the county line.
See you out there!
Loving Westchester is written by a real-life husband and wife team, completely free, and in your inbox every Tuesday and Friday. If it adds something to your week, contributions help us keep growing - including our first in-person Loving Westchester event we're working toward for the fall.
"Thank you for your emails highlighting the wonderful events happening throughout Westchester. They are such a great resource and reminder of how much Westchester has to offer." — A Loving Westchester Reader
In today’s edition:

Worth a drive from Ardsley Car Wash… sunflower festivals you don’t want to miss at Kelder’s and Barton
Where the heart is… who needs a vacation with waterfront living like this?
And a message from our partners, QueenBHive, giving you, your business, or brand the visibility and support it needs, and QueenBPoker, hosting your epic game night.
Now let’s get to it!

🏡 Where the Heart Is
Incredible homes are listed in Westchester every week. Here’s one that caught our eye
![]() | ![]() |
The Key Details: 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 4,186 square feet on 0.54 acres ($979 / square foot)
What We Love About It: Waterfront living doesn't get more classic Westchester Sound Shore than this. Harbor views from nearly every angle, wraparound rear terraces built for entertaining (with a front-row seat to the Fourth of July fireworks), and a deep-water dock just minutes from Long Island Sound for the boaters in the family. The primary suite's private balcony looks straight out over Mamaroneck Harbor, and there's a second primary suite with its own harbor-view deck for guests or extended family. Add proximity to SAPC's pool and clubhouse, and it's the kind of one-of-a-kind waterfront property that rarely comes up in this pocket of Mamaroneck.
We love to hear from you! Give us a shout at [email protected] or find us on Instagram @lovingwestchester. And don't forget to forward this to a friend who's always asking "what's going on this week?"
See you out there!
