Well hello there, Westchester!
How are you doing? For some of you, it was a short week. For others, it may have felt as long as ever with school organizing and new routines to implement. Weāre still not quite there ourselves!
I hope that we whet your appetite for the weekend with some of those āWorth A Driveā plans we shared with you on Tuesday. Youāll find a reminder of some, with new additions, and plenty more options for you to choose from closer to home too! The summer may be winding down, but the events and activities are certainly not!

The local rivertowns have united to bring an amazing, full-day live music event to the shoreline with Music Across the Hudson. Nine different artists will perform across six waterfront locations between 3-7p on Saturday, all for free, in an effort to bring locals down to enjoy the river views. Sun., Sep 7 | Wainwright House, Rye | 5.30-7p | Member tickets $45, non-members $55
The beautifully appointed Wainwright House closes out the weekend waterfront music scene with a bang as they host Strings on the Sound, a classical performance by The Sound Shore Quartet overlooking Milton Harbor in Rye as the sun sets. Tickets include light eats from Rye-newcomer Antonioās Italian Deli and wine from Vaccaroās.

Embrace the Briarcliff community and party the day away on Saturday. Unwind with the little ones after their first week back in school with a magic show at 6.30p, followed by a showing of āHow to Train Your Dragonā at 7.30p in the Rye Rec Amphitheater. The Neils on Wheels food truck will be on site serving dinner from 7p.

Head to Katonah on Saturday for magical fairy-filled walk through the forest at Muscoot Farm. The walk is followed by fairy craft activities for the kids with fairy wings and attire encouraged! This event is free, no registration required.

Donāt Tell Comedy returns to Westchester with a secret gig Saturday night. What we know: itās in New Rochelle at 8.30p at an indoor location and itās BYOB. What we donāt know: the exact location or the comedian(s) taking stageā¦ just how Donāt Tell wants it!

Tarrytown caps a day full of live music (see TaSH Bash) with Rock the Hall, a showcase of four local music acts selected to perform on the night in front of a live audience and industry professionals. Pleasantvilleās Soul Brewing will be on hand to debut its collaborative brew āMusic Hall Lagerā.

The bags are flying at Kensico Dam Plaza on Saturday for the 3rd Annual Cornhole Tournament. 3 Holbrook Road in Briarcliff Manor is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2,860 square-foot modernized Tudor-style home sitting on 1.36 acres. This home was originally a gate house for the 44-room āChilmarkā mansion built by V. Everit Macy (not the department store Macys, but their wealthier relatives!) with the carriage passthrough enclosed and converted into living space.
